Michael Christiaan Adendorff 
Michael was born in June 1869 in Newcastle. Michael's father was Johan Christoffel Adendorff and his mother was Johanna Christina Aveling (Maria Catharina). His paternal grandparents were Michiel Christiaan Adendorff and Johanna Barbara Hoffman (Susanna); his maternal grandparents were Dr Cornelius Klarus Aveling and Agnita Scherpenhuyzen. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Gert, Karl, Frederik, Willem, Samuel, Angenita and Johanna. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 52 on December 18th, 1921 in Zoutpansberg, Tvl..-
