Gertruida Jacoba Bornman (Susanna)

Gertruida was born on April 13th, 1878.  Gertruida's father was Johan Christiaan Bornman and her mother was Gertruida Jacoba van der Merwe (Susanna).  Her paternal grandparents were Myndert Jacobus Bornman and Cornelia Magritha Maree; her maternal grandparents were Barend van der Merwe and Elsie Louise Pienaar. She had a brother and three sisters, named Barend, Cornelia, Catharina and Aletta.  Gertruida and Catharina were twins. She had two half-brothers named Meijnard and Johannes.
