Frans Johannes Ernstzen

Frans was born on May 12th, 1811 and his baptism took place on May 26th, 1811 in Cape Town.  Frans' father was Johan Christiaan Ernstzen and his mother was Carolina Hendrina Maartens. He had a brother and two sisters, named Hendrik, Christina and Rosella.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Barend and Helena.
