Johannes Jacobus Grobbelaar

Johannes was born about 1771 and his christening took place on April 7th, 1771 in Drakenstein.  Johannes' father was Coert Grobbelaar and his mother was Louisa Pienaar.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Wilhelm Grobler and Geertruyd Knoetzen. He had a brother and two sisters, named Petrus, Martha and Elsje. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Johannes, Coert and Geertruida.  He died on July 28th, 1812.
