Johannes Jacobus Heger 
Johannes was born about 1757 in Cape of Good Hope and his baptism took place on January 23rd, 1757 in Cape Town, Cape Of Good Hope. Johannes' father was Theodorus Heger and his mother was Anna Catharina Maartens. His maternal grandparents were Jasper Maartens and Catharina van Laar. He had a brother and two sisters, named Jacobus, Anna and Theodora. He was the second oldest of the four children.
