Willem Higgs

Willem was born on July 2nd, 1902. Willem's father was James Higgs and his mother was Gertruida (Gerty) Catharina Du Plessis. His paternal grandparents were Willem (Oupa Rollie) Higgs and Elsje (Ouma Ellie) Carolina Liebenberg; his maternal grandparents were Hendrik Stephanus Du Plessis and Susanna Catharina Schoeman. He had a brother and three sisters, named Jimmy, Dolly, Stella and Joyce. He was the oldest of the five children.
