Margaretha Aletta Klopper 
Margaretha was born in 1840 in Cradock. Margaretha's father was Willem Frederik Klopper and her mother was Margaretha Aletta Botha. Her paternal grandparents were Jacobus Marthinus Klopper and Helena Catharina Krugel. She had three brothers and a sister, named Christoffel, Abraham, Hendrik and Martha. She was the second oldest of the five children.
