Joachim Marthinus Koekemoer

Joachim was born on March 16th, 1857 in Pietermaritzburg.  Joachim's father was Marthinus Koekemoer and his mother was Isabella Susanna Van Staden. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Gerhardus, Marthinus, Johannes, Maria and Isabella.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 87 on October 7th, 1944.
