Adriaan (Oom Laurie) Laurens Maartens (Albertus)

Adriaan, known as Oom Laurie, was born on November 9th, 1919 and his baptism took place on February 15th, 1920 in Cedarville, Dist. Matatiele.  Oom Laurie's father was Joachim Hendrik Maartens and his mother was Susanna Catharina Maartens.  He was an only child.  He died due to heart disease, Pulmonary embolism, at the age of 76 on October 2nd, 1996 in Germiston.
