Engela (Joanie) Johanna Maartens

Engela, known as Joanie, was born on February 22nd, 1959 and her baptism took place on April 12th, 1959 in Okahandja, Namibia.  Joanie's father was George Frederik Maartens and her mother is Johanna Maria Ward (Magdalena).  Her paternal grandparents were George Frederick Maartens and Josephina Johanna Fourie. She had a brother and a sister, named George and Joanie.  She is the second oldest of the three children.
