Phillipus Albertus Maartens 
Phillipus was born on April 4th, 1890 and his baptism took place on May 4th, 1890 in Senekal. Phillipus' father was Johannes Hendrik Maartens and his mother was Magdalena Susara Gertruida Froneman. His paternal grandparents were David Schalk Maartens and Martha Susanna Nel; his maternal grandparents were Philippus Albertus Froneman and Maria Catharina Pieterse (Elizabeth). He had six brothers and five sisters, named David, Johannes, Stoffel, Paul, Frederik, Pieter, Maria, Hester, Martha, Magdalena and Johanna. He had an adopted brother named Ignatius. He died before 1943.-
