Susanna Maartens

Susanna was born about 1720 in Cape of Good Hope and her baptism took place on July 28th, 1720 in Cape Town.  Susanna's father was Anthony or Anton  Maartens and her mother was Sara Moller (Claassen).  Her paternal grandparents were Jasper Maartens and Anna van Deventer; her maternal grandparents were Johan Claus Moller and Jette Claesz. She had a brother and three sisters, named Jasper, Henrietta, Anna and Catharina.  She was the youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Anthonie and Huibrecht.
