Johannes (Oom Broer) Stephanus Mare 
Johannes, known as Oom Broer, was born on January 8th, 1904. Oom Broer's father was Paul (Pollie) Johannes Mare and his mother was Catharina Elisabeth Bosman. His maternal grandparents were Johannes (Jan) Hendrikus Bosman (Lambertus) and Maria Adriana Griessel. He had five brothers and a sister, named Pollie, Oom Ouboet, Matt, Cornelis, Oom Jan and Tant Dollie. He died at the age of 81 on March 28th, 1985 in Kampersrus, Klaserie. He was buried in Kampersrus, Klaserie.-
