Marthinus Gerhardus Mare

Marthinus was born on April 20th, 1787 and his baptism took place on July 15th, 1787.  Marthinus' father was Ignatius Mare and his mother was Anna Dorothea Pretorius.  His paternal grandfather was Paul Maree and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had seven half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Petrus, Johannes, Lucas, Jacob, Paulus, Marthinus, David, Susanna, Anna, Margaretha, Claudina, Francina and Alida.
