Louis  (Whiz) Nel  Maritz

Louis , known as Whiz, was born on June 13th, 1884 in Greytown, Natal and his baptism took place there on October 13th, 1884.  Whiz's father was Gerhardus Marthinus Maritz and his mother was Elizabeth Francina Nel.  His paternal grandparents were Salomon Maritz and Susanna Margaretha Potgieter.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 82 on March 27th, 1967.
