Emmerentia Hester Smith (Johanna)

Emmerentia was born on October 14th, 1888 and her baptism took place on December 9th, 1888 in Cedarville, Dist. Matatiele.  Emmerentia's father was Johannes Petrus Smith and her mother was Susanna Catharina Maartens. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Johannes, Paulus, Willem, Nellie and Susanna.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 85 on March 31st, 1974.  She was buried in Port Shepstone Main Cemetery.
