Hester, known as Ouma Nan, was born on June 21st, 1892. Ouma Nan's father is nn Snyman and her mother is NN. She had a sister named Tant Let.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 88 on January 6th, 1981 in Matatiele.  She was buried in Eastern Cape, MATATIELE, Public cemetery.
