Joachimus Jacobus Taljaard

Joachimus was born in 1795.  Joachimus' father was Louis Francois Taljaard and his mother was Dina Elisabeth Lourens.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Taljaard and Maria Petronella Jordaan. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Matthys, Louis, Dirk, Johannes, Cornelis, Maria, Dina and Dina.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 57 on October 13th, 1852.
