Barend Johannes Vorster (Marthinus) 
Barend was born on October 13th, 1798. Barend's father was Barend Johannes Vorster and his mother is Levina Catharina Steenkamp. His paternal grandparents were Barend Vorster and Dorothea Maria Smit. He had a brother named Schalk. He was the younger of the two children. He had three half-brothers named Barend, Izaac and Willem. He died at the age of 82 on August 22nd, 1881 in Harmsfontein.-
