Maria Elizabeth de Buys (Eliza Maria)

Maria was born on June 25th, 1812 in Cape Of Good Hope, South Africa and her baptism took place on November 26th, 1815 in Swartland, Cape Of Good Hope, South Africa.  Maria's father was Coenraad Willem de Buys and her mother was Catharina Dorothea Meiring. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Coenraad, Albertus, Johannes, Johannes, Petrus, Christina and Catharina.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 73 in 1885.
