Johannes Marthinus de Wet (Jacob)

Johannes was born in 1815.  Johannes' father was Jacobus Ignatius De Wet and his mother was Jacoba Elizabeth Roets. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Nicolaas, Jacobus, Gotlieb, Pieter, Christiaan, Daniel, Hendrik, Johannes, Gert, Anna and Catharina.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 23 in 1838.
