Gertruida Maria van Biljon (Louisa)

Gertruida was born about 1890 in Smithfield and her baptism took place on May 18th, 1890 in Reddersburg.  Gertruida's father was Arnoldus Jacobus van Biljon and her mother was Christina Gesina Kruger (Hendrina). She had two brothers and three sisters, named Gert, Willem, Johanna, Christina and Nicolasina.  She was the second oldest of the six children.
