Maria Magdalena van Dyk

Maria was born on December 18th, 1781 in Stellenbosch and her christening took place on May 25th, 1782 in Cape Town.  Maria's father was Joseph van Dyk and her mother was Zacharia Catharina Kruger. She had four brothers named Sybrand, Frans, Joseph and Andries.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 61 on August 29th, 1843 in Great Fish RIver, Albany, Cape Province.  She was buried about September 2nd, 1843 in Great Fish RIver, Albany, Cape Province.
