Aletta Johanna Catharina van Rooyen 
Aletta was born on May 13th, 1872 in Greytown. Aletta's father was Johan Christiaan van Rooyen and her mother was Isabella Elizabeth Steenkamp. Her paternal grandparents were Lucas Marthinus van Rooyen and Jacomina Aletta Potgieter. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Lucas, Hermanus, John, Thomas, Anna, Isabella, Ella and Jacomina. She died at the age of 53 on September 1st, 1925 in Sergeant Street, Greytown.-
