Carolina Aletta Adendorff 
Carolina was born on September 28th, 1875 in Newcastle. Carolina's father was Johan Christoffel Adendorff and her mother was Maria Johanna Aveling. Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Christoffel Adendorff and Magdalena Frederica Heydenrich; her maternal grandparents were Dr Cornelius Klarus Aveling and Agnita Scherpenhuyzen. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Gempie, Wynand, Harry, Louis, Pieter, Angenita , Maggie and Johanna. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 90 on August 17th, 1966 in Johannesburg.-
