Cornelis Grobbelaar

Cornelis was born on March 31st, 1736 in Drakenstein.  Cornelis' father was Johann Wilhelm Grobler and his mother was Geertruyd Knoetzen.  His maternal grandparents were Cornelis Knoetzen and Dirkje Helms. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Johannes, Willem, Petrus, Nicolaas, Coert, Jan, Catharina, Cornelia, Geertruy, Dorothea, Dirkje and Geertruy.
