Richard Weir Houston McMillan 
Richard was born on August 27th, 1861 in East Griqualand. Richard's father was John (Mashibana) William Houston McMillan and his mother was Sarah A Sykes. His paternal grandparents were John Houston McMillan and Mary McIntyre. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named John, David, Doyi or Doy, Duncan, Hugh, Gilbert, Alexander, Kenneth, Macintyre, Arthur, Lily and Dora. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 74 on January 17th, 1936 in Ashton Farm, East Griqualand.-
