William John Houston McMillan 
William was born about 1878 in Umzimkulu. William's father was Donald (David, Doyi or Doy) Isla Houston McMillan and his mother was Jacoba Helena Van Whye. His paternal grandparents were John (Mashibana) William Houston McMillan and Sarah A Sykes. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Oupa Dad, Gilbert, Frederick, John, Richard, Donald, Sarah and Cecilia. He had a half-sibling of unknown gender. He died on September 25th, 1916 in Natal.-
