Adriaan Lourens Albertus Maartens 
Adriaan was born on September 28th, 1920 in Cedarville. Adriaan's father was David Frederick Maartens and his mother was Cornelia Johanna Magdalena Bekker. His paternal grandparents were Adriaan Lowrens Albertus Maartens and Aletta (Hannie) Johanna Magdalena van der Merwe; his maternal grandparents were Stephanus Petrus Bekker and Helena Catharina Malan. He had three sisters named Helena, Aletta and Cornelia. He was the youngest of the four children. He died due to heart disease, VENTRICULAR ABRILLATION, at the age of 71 on July 17th, 1992 in Kempton Park.General Notes
