Hester Maria Maartens 
Hester was born on October 15th, 1919. Hester's father was Izak Benjamin Maartens and her mother was Gertruida (Gertie) Catharina Marais (Johanna). Her paternal grandparents were Matthys Daniel Jacobus Maartens and Hester Maria Elizabeth van Heerden. She had a brother and two sisters, named Boy, Unie and Verona. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 79 on October 29th, 1998. She was buried in Cape Town, MAITLAND, Woltemade Cemetery.General Notes
Lived in Avenue Hotel, Gardens in Cape Town before she got married.
