Johanna (Ousus) Alida Aletta Margareta Maartens 
Johanna, known as Ousus, was born on December 9th, 1917 in Matatiele. Ousus' father was Hendrik Joachim Maartens and her mother was Johanna Alida Aletta Margareta Coetzer. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Lourens Daniel Maartens and Zachryda Catharina de Bruin. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Oom Boet, <Unknown>, Piet, Paul, Basie, Segryda, Elizabeth, Olive, Hennie, Emmie, Anna and Tossie. She died from a stroke at the age of 59 on June 6th, 1977 in Vereeniging. She was buried in Jacobskop, Vereeniging.General Notes
Never married. Had a child which was taken away from her c 1933. Because of this she got mentally ill and lived with her mother and then with her sister.
