Willem (Willie) Pieter Maartens 
Willem, known as Willie, was born on March 29th, 1947. Willie's father was Willem (Will) Pieter Maartens III and his mother is Johanna Magdalena Wepener. His paternal grandparents were Willem (Oupa dad) Pieter Jacobus Maartens II and Hester (Ouma Nan) Johanna Snyman. He had two sisters named Nicolene and Joan. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 25 on May 4th, 1972 in Matatiele.General Notes
Willem and his brothers and sisters all went to boarding school in Cedarville. Willie was only 18 when he managed the Cedarville Hotel for Jack Diamond.
