Willem Pieter Maartens 
Willem was born on October 17th, 1944. Willem's father was Barend (Rent) Nicolaas Stephanus Maartens and his mother was Christina Josina Biggs. His paternal grandparents were Willem (Oupa dad) Pieter Jacobus Maartens II and Hester (Ouma Nan) Johanna Snyman. He had three sisters named Kathleen, Tienkie and Christina. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, RESPIRATORY ARREST, at the age of 58 on February 1st, 2003 in Westville.General Notes
