Christiaan De Wet Martens 
Christiaan was born on October 23rd, 1900 in Greytown and his baptism took place on January 27th, 1901. Christiaan's father was Jan Thomas Martens and his mother was Susannah Engela Vermaak. His paternal grandparents were Cornelius Jacobus Martens and Victoria Liversage; his maternal grandparents were Jacobus Stephanus Vermaak and Susanna Engela Odendaal. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Cornelius, Jacobus, Thomas , (San, Victoria , Hannie, Harriet , Maria and Anna . He was the youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Johannes and Regina . He died at the age of 31 on June 29th, 1932 in York St., Greytown.Death Notes
