Jacobus Petrus Viviers 
Jacobus was born on July 28th, 1859. Jacobus' father was Hendrik Johannes Viviers and his mother was Petronella Elizabeth Maartens. His paternal grandparents were Petrus Jacobus Viviers and Elizabetha Johanna Botha; his maternal grandparents were Joachim Hendrik Maartens and Martha Margaretha Maria Joubert. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named Joachim, Philippus, Francois, David, Johannes, Petrus, Martha, Elizabeth, Petronella, Hendrika, Maria, Marguerita, Susanna and Hendrina. He was the seventh youngest of the fifteen children.-
