Anna was born on April 20th, 1906. Anna's father was Cecil Gerhardus van Heyningen (Sophi) and her mother was Martha (Martie) Magdalena Du Plessis. Her paternal grandparents were Rev Petrus Arnoldus van Heyningen (Conradus) and Boudina Ketel. She had four brothers and nine sisters, named George, Pietie, Con, Frank, Mary, Cara, Hester, Ada, Boudina, Christina, Martha, Petronella, Wilhelmina and Van. She died at the age of 95 on October 17th, 2001 in Somerset-West.General Notes
