Jacobus Johannes Grobbelaar

Jacobus was born on October 19th, 1799.  Jacobus' father was Johannes Jacobus Grobbelaar and his mother was Elizabeth Margaretha van Jaarsveld.  His paternal grandparents were Coert Grobbelaar and Louisa Pienaar. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Albertus, Coert, Willem, Elizabeth, Louisa, Rachel, Martha and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
