Anna Catharina Magdalena Maartens 
Anna was born on November 26th, 1906 in Christiana. Anna's father was Joachim Hendrik Maartens and her mother was Catharina Magdalena van Wyngaardt. Her paternal grandparents were Albertus Stephanus Rudolf Martens and Jane Younger; her maternal grandparents were Johannes Petrus van Wijngaard and Johanna Susanna Loots (Elizabeth Magdalena). She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Albertus, Johannes, John, Jan, Matthys, Joachim, George, Johanna, Jane and Catharina. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 77 on June 10th, 1984 in Bloemfontein.General Notes
