Magdalena Scheepers

Magdalena was born in April 1764 in Swellendam and her baptism took place on April 1st, 1764 in Cape. Magdalena's father was Coenraad Scheepers and her mother was Elsje Oosthuizen. Her paternal grandparents were Gerrit Scheepers and Susanna Bruwel; her maternal grandparents were GerhardusOosthuizen and Magdalena Neeff. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Frederik, Gerrit, Coenraad, Johannes, Jan, Catharina, Elsje, Petronella, Johanna and Elsie. She was the oldest of the eleven children.
