Jacobus Nicolaas van der Westhuizen

Jacobus was born on January 19th, 1895 and his baptism took place on July 21st, 1895 in Pietermaritzburg.  Jacobus' father was Johannes van der Westhuizen and his mother was Anna Jacoba Boshof (Margaretha).  His paternal grandparents were Gerrit Jacobus  van der Westhuizen and Aletta Helena Boshof. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Gert, Johannes, Willem, Anna, Aletta, Jacomina and Margaretha.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.
