Susanna Elizabeth Grobbelaar 
Susanna was born on September 27th, 1877 in Graaff Reinet and her christening took place there on December 2nd, 1877. Susanna's father was Hendrik Joachim Grobbelaar and her mother was Martha Etresia van den Berg. Her paternal grandparents were Albertus Stephanus Grobbelaar and Susanna Elizabeth Martens. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Albertus, Nicolaas, Nicolaas, Hendrik, Anna and Martha. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Matthys, David, Martin, Hester and Johanna.-
