Ida Blance Higgs

Ida was born on June 25th, 1888 in Ladybrand.  Ida's father was William Edward Higgs and her mother was Cornelia Jones.  Her paternal grandparents were William Charles Higgs and Catherine Emily Austen. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Willie, Clement, Jock, Claude, Bertie, May, Ethel, Alice, Gladys, Bertha, Harry and Irene .  She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 37 on September 16th, 1925.
