Elsje Aletta Maria Janse van Rensburg (Elsie) 
Elsje was born about 1869 in Rouxville. Elsje's father was Petrus Johannes Janse van Rensburg and her mother was Louisa Maria Maartens. Her paternal grandparents were Hendrik Petrus Jansen van Rensburg and Jacomina Jacoba Martens. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Joachim, Petrus, Daniel, Johannes, Willem, Albertus, Louisa, Marthina, Hendriena, Elizabeth, Susanna and Anna. She was the second youngest of the thirteen children. She died due to a medical problem, Inflamation of the bowels, on May 22nd, 1911 in Allingthun, Matatiele. She was buried in Allingthun, Matatiele.General Notes
