Louisa Sophia Janse van Rensburg 
Louisa was born about 1838. Louisa's father was Hendrik Petrus Jansen van Rensburg and her mother was Jacomina Jacoba Martens. Her paternal grandparents were David Jansen van Rensburg and Elsie Sophia Burger; her maternal grandparents were Joachim Hendrik Martens and Hendrina Magdalena van der Merwe. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named David, Hendrik, Barend, Paul, Daniel, Petrus, Willem, Hendrina, Elsje, Jacomina and Anna. She was the youngest of the twelve children.-
