Diederik Johannes Koekemoer

Diederik was born in 1765 and his baptism took place on October 17th, 1765 in Tulbach.  Diederik's father was Diederik Koekemoer and his mother was Jacomina van Wyk.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Gerrit Arie van Wyk and Elizabeth Vivier. He had two brothers and a sister, named Gerrit, Abraham and Maria.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had four half-brothers named Joachim, Jochem, Johannes and Godlieb.
