Joachim Koekemoer

Joachim was born on October 6th, 1744 in Cape and his baptism took place on November 22nd, 1744 in Cape Town.  Joachim's father was Diederik Koekemoer and his mother was Catharina van Wyk.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Willem van Wyk and Johanna Catherina Campher. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Gerrit, Diederik, Abraham, Jochem, Johannes, Godlieb and Maria.  He died at the age of 27 on May 27th, 1772 in Waveren (Tulbach).
