Louisa Maria Maartens 
Louisa was born about October 1st, 1855. Louisa's father was Hendrik Joachim Maartens and her mother was Elizabeth Magdalena van Jaarsveld. Her paternal grandparents were Joachim Hendrik Martens and Louisa Maria Grobbelaar; her maternal grandparents were Adriaan Zacharias van Jaarsveld (Albertus) and Elizabeth Magdalena van Jaarsveld. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Adriaan, Mathias, Abraham, Louwrens, Nicolaas, Hendrik, Elizabeth, Magdalena and Susanna. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died due to heart disease, Vulvular condition of the heart, on September 10th, 1926 in Maclear. She was buried in Maclear Cemetary.General Notes
