Josua Joachim Mare 
Josua was born on July 5th, 1832. Josua's father was Jacob Gerhardus Mare and his mother was Jacomina Frederica Elizabeth Martens. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Philippus Mare and Sara Susanna du Toit; his maternal grandparents were Jacobus Martens and Maria Magdalena Joubert. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Jacobus, Jacobus, Gabriel, Hendrik, Petrus, Josua, Jacob, Maria, Sara, Jacomina, Jacomina, Margaret and Jacomina. He died at 2 months old on September 11th, 1832.-
