Susanna Kathrina Martens (Gertrude)

Susanna was born on May 19th, 1833 in Graaff Reinet and her baptism took place there on June 23rd, 1833.

Birth Notes

Susanna's father was Hendrik Jacobus Martens and her mother was Elizabeth Maria Roos. Her paternal grandparents were Jacobus Martens and Maria Magdalena Joubert. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Jacobus, Lang Hendrik, Jan, Elizabeth, Maria and Wilemina. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 75 on March 10th, 1909 in House of G.S.Roberts, Greytown.
