Pieter Johannes Venter 
Pieter was born on November 2nd, 1852. Pieter's father was Jacobus Johannes Venter and his mother was Anna Catharina Janse van Vuuren. His paternal grandparents were Jan Adriaan Venter and Margaretha Johanna Louw; his maternal grandparents were Stephanus Petrus Janse van Vuuren and Cornelia Maria van der Merwe. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Stephanus, Jacobus, Sarel, Maria, Margaretha, Anna, Hester, Adriana and Lettie. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Jan, Jan, Johannes, Petrus, Petronella, Martha and Hester. He died at the age of 2 in 1854 in Bloemfontein.General Notes
